Official Image-to-video 20 steps

Official I2V template (image-to-video)

Use one image as the exact first frame and develop forward; composition and identity come from the image, so focus the prompt on camera and motion. See the I2VA mode in our prompt guide.

How to run it

  1. 1 Pick Image to Video from the template library; wire your first-frame image into Load Image
  2. 2 Start the prompt with the first-frame alignment line, then the three fields
  3. 3 For identity consistency across shots, use the Ref2V template instead of I2V
The closer the source image is to the target canvas, the smoother the motion; above-native canvases (>0.98MP) need the official Regenerate-2K pipeline.

FAQ

What's the minimum GPU for this recipe?

About 6GB+ of VRAM for 1344×768 · 5s (46 of 49 listed GPUs workable). Short 736×416 clips run on less.

How does this recipe combine with other acceleration?

Step distillation picks one option; attention backends (Sage/Kitchen/SLA/VSA) and caches stack on top. See the conflicts table for exact rules.
